Casting Pick-up

Casting pick-up systems allow for maintaining the
exact orientation of the castings to facilitate automation. They
also prevent damage to the castings caused by vibratory shake-outs
or rotary machines. |

The pick-up systems can be used for large or small castings. |
|
|
Twin motor blocks are automatically picked-up and desprued at an automotive foundry. |
|
|
For small castings it is advised to keep them as a cluster or tree. This technique prevents the castings from moving randomly and losing orientation. |
